Your topic sentence is interesting. Do you intend to explore "why" this is so? Or do you want to prove or disprove this statement?
You have the right idea for search terms in item 2. Using the nouns and the exact phrases is your best option.
I think you have the right databases to try. Depending on how scientific you wanted to get, you could eventually end up looking in Web of Science, too, but that would come later.
